This product marked Edify's first international shipment. Collaborating with an organization in the energy sector, we got an opportunity to develop a prototype trolley back in 2023. The development of that trolley showcased our prowess and capability in manufacturing. This paved way to obtain orders for 2# trolleys, which were a sub-system for an Energy Storage Solution. Getting together the entire sub-system in an in-house assembly process proved to be a challenge which brought on board every member of team, who contributed in their own way to ensure that this project sees fruition. Starting from developing the basic fabrication parts, to getting the other mechanical machining parts manufactured, before integrating the parts via permanent and semi-permanent joints, the project challenged the wits and endurance of the team throughout. We further proceeded to develop the hydraulic and electrical sub-systems and squared it off by testing the trolleys in house, with the help of a modular load, developed to compensate for the actual pre-cast loads. Post completion of the successful testing, all challenges faced and issues that arose were addressed, documented and presented to the client's Engineering team, proving Edify's deep and committed involvement in the development of the trolley.
Edify takes immense pride in its in-house brazing process, AI Brazing, a groundbreaking innovation for amalgamating aluminium parts of varying thicknesses. This process stands as a testament to Edify's commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency, offering a viable and eco-friendly alternative to the traditionally CAPEX- and OPEX-intensive dip-brazing methods. Edify delivered it's first set of End horns for an X-ray imaging OEM. The project's successful completion has proven Edify's capabilities in working out an alternative method of joining dissimilar parts within a short time. Edify also performed various post-operation tests to ensure that the parts are free of any deformities or leaks, thus satisfying the requirements of the end usage of the components, wherein they are to be assembled in X-ray Tubes.
